Requirements

To integrate Ampio with the CasaTunes system, you will need both an Ampio server from the M-SERV range and a CasaTunes server, both of which must be on the same local IP network. The radio’s IP address can be found, for example, in the CasaTunesX app.

Integration

Integration is configured in the Ampio Designer tool and begins by navigating to the APPLICATION tab and adding a new object.

Click to enlarge and open in a new tab.

Under ‘Object type’, select radio, and under ‘Subtype’, select IP radio.

Click to enlarge and open in a new tab.

Assign the radio to a module from the M-SERV family; select ‘Casa Tunes’ from the drop-down list.

Click to enlarge and open in a new tab.

In the configuration, enter the zone number you wish to control and the IP address of the radio as a URL (which you can check, for example, in the CasaTunesX app). Zones are numbered from 0 upwards; so for the first zone, enter 0; for the second, 1; for the third, 2; and so on. Leave the HTTPS switch unchecked.

Click to enlarge and open in a new tab.

Once you have finished configuring the settings, click the Save button. The Ampio UNI mobile app will now include the option to control the Casa Tunes audio zone.
