This guide applies to parameter configuration in Ampio devices running firmware generation 2.0 or later. Depending on the device model, different functions and parameter types may be available. The parameter interface automatically detects and allows editing of available settings.

Introduction

Ampio modules may have configurable parameters linked to their functions, such as binary inputs, outputs, flags, etc. These parameters can be edited in the PARAMETERS tab of the module settings via an intuitive tabbed interface.

Each tab corresponds to a specific device function with unique available parameters.

Supported parameter types

Below is a description of the currently supported parameters in Ampio devices.

Binary flags

The binary parameters tab allows you to set the initial state for binary flags in modules.

Available settings:

  • Startup state:
    • Disabled (0) – the flag is inactive upon power-up.
    • Enabled (1) – the flag is active immediately after power-up.

Backlight – button and LCD brightness

Ampio DOT series devices feature backlighting for buttons and LCD screens. These parameters allow for setting of default brightness levels after powering on.

Available settings:

  • Button sacklight – adjustable from 0% to 100%.
  • LCD sacklight – adjustable from 0% to 100%.

Brightness can be set individually for each element.

Using the parameters tab

  1. When entering the device settings, the interface automatically detects available functions and displays tabs with their names.
  2. Click on the desired tab to view available parameters.
  3. Make the necessary changes to be saved to the module.
  4. Save your changes by clicking the SAVE button in the top right corner of Ampio Designer.
